A Beautiful Gardener's Journal by Rose

Moja dnevna (če sem popolnoma iskrena tedenska) rutina je bloganje, ne toliko pisanje svojega (na tem potrebujem še veliko vaje), kot branje blogov iz celega sveta. Okno v svet se mi odpre v trenutku ko sedem pred računalnik. Ena izmed mojih ljubših revij je UPPERCASE, čeprav si je še nisem lastila. Občudujem jo preko mojega okna v svet in si predstavljam kako fino bi jo bilo imeti zares v rokah. H krati pa se potapljam v UPPERCASE-ovem blogu, uživam v njihovih predstavitvah, člankih, umetnikih.

My daily (if I'm completely honest weekly) routine is blogging, not so much writing my own, but reading blogs from around the world. My window to the world is opened when I sit on computer. One of my favorite magazines is UPPERCASE, although I've never have it in my hands. I admire the magazine and imagine how fine it would be to have it also in my hands not just looking by the computer. I love Uppercase blog, I enjoy their presentations, articles of artists.

Pomlad je bila polna vrtnarjenja, rožic, sadik, zelenjave in zato mi je v oči padla objava vrtnarskega dnevnika  Rose Jocham. Zaljubila sem se v njene ilustracije, vzorce. Običajno me privlačijo ilustracije, ki so popolnoma nasprotje mojemu stilu in tukaj je podobno. Nežni akvarelčki, barvna skala in simpatični rokopis, težko je da ti ne bi bilo všeč. Sem velik ljubitelj vzorcev in lahko bi jih opazovala ves čas. Rosejini vzorci so prekrasni in mislim, da bodo všeč tudi vam.

Spring was full of gardening, flowers, seedlings, vegetables and I saw a post of gardenest journal's of Rose Jocham. I fell in love in her illustrations, designs. I usually attracted to illustrations that are completely opposite of my style and here is similar. Gentle watercolours, color chart and cute handwriting is difficult that you would not like it. I'm a big fan of patterns and can watched them at all time. Rose patterns are beautiful and I think you will like it.

Winter and Spring

 Tukaj sta dve ilustraciji izmed štirih. Zima in pomlad. Le kateri dve sta naslednji? Seveda gre za štiri letne čase. In ilustracije so namenjene čudoviti osebi. Komaj čakam, da vam pokažem še ostale.

Na domačem vrtu so me očarale vse cvetlice, ki so pokukale ven. Zajček se mi že nekaj časa mota po glavi. In tako je nastala nova ilustracija, ki jo že najdete v moji Etsy trgovini.

On the home garden, I was fascinated by all the flowers that are starting to get out.  have bunny in my head for some time now. And so I created a new illustration, which you can find in my Etsy shop.

Spring is coming

Čas je, da se poslovimo od zime in da na široko odpremo roke pomladi. Vreme je že nekaj časa prekrasno in priznam, da ga vsak dan izkoristim. Čutim, da se mi telo prebuja. Začetna utrujenost je minila in vsak dan sem bolj polna z energijo. Sedaj imam že ritual. Po jutranji kavi in pomarančnemu soku se odpravim ven za uro in pol. Temu je zaslužen Ben. Če ne bi bilo njega bi se verjetno marsikatero jutro nadaljevalo z delom, tako pa je naju popelje v naravo. Najina končna destinacija je travnik, ob katerem teče potok. Običajno je v jutranjih urah še vse mirno. Sonček prijetno greje. Uležem se na travnik, medtem pa Ben nabira palice in jih grizlja. Preden odideva domov tekava po travniku s palicami v rokah in v gobčku. Se loviva in igrava, predvsem pa uživava v vonju in zvoku narave. Vse kar mi pride na misel je.. ko bi vsaj trajalo.

It is time to say goodbye to winter and the wide open arms of spring. The weather is beautiful for some time now and I admit that I take it every day. I feel that my body is waking up. Initial fatigue is gone and every day I am more full of energy. Now I have a ritual. After morning coffee and orange juice I go out for an hour and a half. This is a well deserved Ben. If I woludn't have him, it would probably be many mornings continued with the work, so it takes us into nature. Our final destination is the meadow, at which the stream flows. Usually is in the morning still all quiet. Pleasantly warm sunshine. Lie down on the meadow, while Ben collects sticks and he nibbles it. Before I go home we run in the meadow with sticks in our hands and mouth. We were chatching and playing, especially we enjoyed the smell and sound of nature. 

You are my sweetheart

Za vsako ilustracijo stoji zgodba. Običajno je to moja osebna izkušnja ali pa sanjarjenje, ki se mi zgodi, ko razmišljam naj si bodi med sprehodom, za delovno mizo, na kavču, v avtu. Pred dnevi sem bila pred izzivom, da napišem zgodbo, sem ugotovila da bi to lahko večkrat storila. Moja zgodba ostane pri meni, pokažem pa ilustracijo, ki govori namesto besed. V prihodnje vam razkrijem kakšno od svoji zgodb tudi preko napisanih besed. Ben je moja velika ljubezen (seveda poleg mojih treh fantov). Predvsem je pa nekdo, ki je neprestano ob meni. Redko kdaj se ločiva, spremlja me tudi po opravkih. Kadar ne more z mano, me pridno počaka v avtu. Rad se pelje v avtu, zato ga tudi pogostokrat vzamem s sabo. 

Včasih se uležem na tla in ga opazujem, občudujem, on pa me tako resno gleda. Najraje bi ga mečkala po rokah in nosila v naročju, on pa ni take vrste pes. Razlagam si, da mi ugodi želje zato, ker me spoštuje in ker tudi jaz njega spoštujem, pazim, da se mu ne vsiljujem. Včasih le ležim na tleh in ga opazujem in on opazuje mene, kot vidite na spodnji ilustraciji.

For each illustration stands a story. Normally, this is my own personal experience or daydream that happens to me during a walk, siting by the desk, on the couch, in the car. A few days ago I was challenged to write a story, I sked myself why can I do this more. My story stays with me, but an illustration speaks instead of the words. I decided I will reveal some of my stories. Ben is my great love (of course, in addition to my three boys ). He is someone who is constantly with me . He accompanies me on an errand. He loved to drive with me in the car and waits me, when he has to. 

Sometimes I lie down on the floor and watch him, admire, and he looks at me so seriously. I'd cuddle him on my hands and wore in my lap and he is not that kind of dog . I think he grant my wishes because he treat me with respect and because I respect him, so I take care that does not impose to him . Sometimes I'm just lying on the floor and watch him and he is watching me, like you see on illustration below.

Doodles

Danes sem raziskovala medveda. Tako so nastale čečkarije, ki jih vidite na fotografijah. Kadar zagledam fotografijo medveda se mi srce nasmehne. Ne vem kaj je z mano in z medvedi, ampak zares so mi pri srcu. Običajno so bili oni vedno prvi, kadar sem se lotila nove stvari. Moja prva vaja iz animacije je bil medved, scenografija, ilustracija, pliško.. vedno medved. 

Today I was researching the bear. On the photo you can see doodles of him . When I see the photo of bears my heart smile. I do not know what is with me and the bears, but I really love them. My first exercise in animation was a bear, scenography, illustration, softy .. always a bear.

  

Finally continue!

Biti bolan ni prav nič zabavno. Pri meni se je vleklo že nekaj časa in pred dvema tednoma me je popolnoma zadelo. Moje delo je stalo in meni ni preostalo drugega kot, da ležim v postelji in razmišljam, planiram, sanjam. Danes sem se končno lotila dela, tam kjer sem ga nazadnje pustila. Upam, da so vam bacili bolje prizanesli in da ste polni optimizma in dobre energije.

Being sick is no fun. I was filling bad for some time now and two weeks ago I was completely struck. My work stoped and  I was lying in bed thinking, planing, dreaming. Today I finally set to work, where I last left it. I hope you are filling better than me and that you are full of optimism and good energy.

Welcome

Še vedno se spominjam svojega prvega doma, ko sem šla na svoje. čeprav še vedno blizu svojega prvega doma pa še vseeno dovolj daleč, da sem lahko zaživela svoje samostojno življenje. Kako se pa vi spominjate svoje prve osamosvojitve?

Vsem, ki si želite in tistim, ki ste že prišli do svojega doma, je namenjena ta ilustracija.

I still remember my first home when I lived on my own. It was still close to my first home but far enough that I was lived my own life. How you remember your first independence?

It's just me!

Ne vem kje naj začnem ali naj sploh začnem. Polna glava vsega.. dela, idej, obveznosti in stvari s katerimi se nisem želela trenutno ukvarjati. Prišle so in sedaj tuhtam kaj in kako. Vse si želim narediti popolno. Če ne popolno pa si želim vsaj tako, da bom zadovoljna in se ne bom spraševala kako bi bilo lahko še bolje. Čas pa kar leti. Z vami delim ilustracijo sebe, ki je imela sicer drug namen. In naj bi bila del nečesa. Pa se nekako ni izšlo tako kot sem si predstavljala. Bom pa zato trenutno 'sama' na listu, dokler ne bo malo več časa, da se mi še kdo pridruži.

I do not know where to start or do I even begin. My head is full.. full of work, ideas, commitments and things which I did not want to deal in this time. They came and now I'm thinking what to do and how. All I want to do it has to be perfect! If not perfect but at least I want to be happy with it and not wondering all the time how it could be better. But time flows so quickly.. and it's not enough time for all things I would like to do. I'm sharing with you illustration of myself, which at the beginning have a different purpose. It have to be a part of something. But somehow it did not work out as I had imagined. I will therefore present just me until it is a little more time to have someone join me.

Squirrel

Veverica je opazovala lisico in volka kako sta zavzeto iskala zanimive gobe. Njej ni bilo posebno do gob. Želela si je biti drugačna. Raje si je našla velik storž, čeprav ni dobro vedela kaj naj z njim stori. V svoj dom, ki je bil visoko v drevesnem deblu, ga ni mogla spraviti. Enostavno je bil prevelik zanj, če pomislimo, da potrebuje prostor še za vso ozimnico, lešnike, orehe, želode.

Squirrel is observing the fox and the wolf how eagerly are looking for interesting mushrooms. She was not intrested about mushrooms. She wanted to be different. So she rather found a large cone, although she don't know what to do with it. In her home, which was high in the tree trunk, she could not get it in. Simply was too large. In her home she needs room for food which she'll need to survive in winter; hazelnuts, walnuts, acorns.

Wolf

Volk je opazil lisico, ki je našla čarobne gobice. Ni mu bilo jasno zakaj bi lisica potrebovala te čudovite gobice, rodila pa se mu je želja, da bi jih imel tudi sam. Odpravil se je v gozd in našel gobo, ki je bila pravo nasprotje lisičini. Le kaj bo volk storil z gobo, ki jo je našel...

The wolf saw the fox, who found the magic mushrooms. He was not clear why the fox needed this beautiful mushrooms, but he desire to have mushrooms by them self. So he went into the woods and found a mushroom, which was very different of mushroom which fox hold in her paws. What did the wolf do with a mushroom...

Foxy

Navdušena sem nad gobami. Obstajajo čudovite barve in oblike. Z eno besedo čarobne. Po brskanju novih gobic sem našla na Pinterestu prav posebne, ki so mi dale inspiracijo. Naši živalski druščini se je tokrat pridružila še lisička, ki pa je tudi sama naletela na prav posebne čarobne gobe.

I love the mushrooms. There are wonderful colors and shapes. In one word magic. After browsing for new mashrooms I found at Pinterest very special one and they gave me inspiration. Our animal gang, this time joined a fox and she found a very special magic mushrooms.

Autumn

Jesen je moj najljubši letni čas, poleg pomladi.  Tople barve jeseni objamejo telo in dušo. Svetloba je prekrasna, nežna in ob sončnem vremenu idealna za fotografiranje. Jesenski sadeži vsepovsod v gozdu čakajo na roke, da jih oberejo. Ene izmed njih so tudi gobe. Pred dnevi sem na Pinterestu naletela na čudovite gobe, ki so mi v trenutku dale inspiracijo. Skica ilustracije je nastala in nekaj dni zatem tudi ilustracija. Ptiček in miška se s pomočjo gobe skrivata pred dežjem. Kje pa je dež?! Ne boste verjeli, ampak ko sem zaključevala ilustracijo je kar naenkrat prenehalo deževati.  Glede na vreme zadnje dni verjamem, da bo ptičku in miški gobica prišla še kako prav. 

Autumn is my favorite season, beside spring. Warm autumn colors embrace the body and soul. The light is beautiful, delicate and with sunny weather is ideal for photography. Autumn fruits everywhere in the woods waiting for the hands to be picked. One of them was also mushrooms. A few days ago I came across a beautiful mushrooms on Pinterest, which gave me an inspiration. Sketch illustration was created, and a few days after the illustration was made. Bird and mouse with are hiding under the mushroom from the rain. But where is the rain?! You will not believe it, but when I finished my illustration sudden stopped raining. Depending on the weather the last few days, I believe the bird and the mouse will need the mushrooms.

Bear

Se spominjate skice medveda? Ilustracija je končno končana. Sigurno pa ste ga že opazili na glavi bloga med rožicami.
