Winter Fun

Priznam, da mi je grozno, da sem zanemarila blog. Mislim, da vsi vemo kako čas hitro teče takrat ko mu ni treba. Želim si, da bi vam obljubila, da od zdaj naprej bom bolj pridna z objavami na blogu, ampak v resnici še sama ne vem ali mi bo uspelo. Vam pa lahko obljubim, da če me boste pogrešali, da me vedno najdete na Instagramu in Facebook strani. Toliko zaenkart lahko zares obljubim, da tam sem in bom redno aktivna.

Mene je zima popolnoma očarala. Čeprav sem zelo zmrzljiv človek jo imam rada in od kar imam Bena jo tudi zares izkoristim, ne samo skozi okno tako kot je to bilo zadnja leta.  Če se le da se v sedem v avto in odpeljem dva kilometra stran od mojega doma kjer imam dostop do narave, do gozda in miru. Družbo mi vedno delata moj Ben in fotoaparat. Naslednjič vam obljubim, da delim z vami nekaj fotografij.

Tokrat pa bi vam pokazala novo ilustracijo, ki pa je že v moji Etsy trgovini. Navdih za njo je bila seveda zima in otroci.

I admit that I feel terrible that I neglected blog. I think we all know how time flies when you do not need it. I wish I could promise you that from now on I will be more regularly activ on the blog, but in reality I don't know if I will be. I can promise you that if you miss me that you can always find me on Instagram and Facebook page. I can really promise that you can always find me there.

the winter completely charmed me. Although I am very freezable I love it.  If I have enought time I go with my car two kilometers away from my home where I havebeautiful nature, forest and the most important peace. My company are always my Ben and camera. Next time, I promise to share with you some photos.

I know it would be better to make this post at least a few days earlier. What can I do, time fly so fast. Do you remember my posts about Sue B Zimmerman, Creative Live and Instagramu? 

Sue is back on stage and today, in less than two hours she wil have a course on Creative Live. I can not wait to see her again. Sue is a wonderful person, full of energy and excellent advices. she will have an amazing experts, guests and you will find out everything you need to know about Instagram and how to build a business on it. This course is so special for me, because I was invited from Sue to be her guest. I will tell my story on Thursday, 6 November at 9.30am PST. I am very honored to have been chosen.

Fall In Love

Jesen je pokazala svoje prečudovite barve. Po mesecu lepega vremena je prišel tudi dež. Nič hudega, letos je zares bila radodarna. Upam le, da dež ne bo predolgo trajal, vseeno sem še polna planov. Jesen je eden izmed ljubših letnih časov, kar pa ni bilo od nekdaj. V šolskih dneh se semptembra nikoli nisem veselila in takrat mi je jesen pomenila le začetek šole. Tokrat je drugače. Navdaja je me z mirnostjo, ob lepih vremenih me sonce nežno boža in barve jeseni so najlepše, še posebej za fotografijo.

Moja nova ilustracija je zato igra besed. Jesen in ljubezen. Ljubezen do jeseni. Ilustracija je že na volji v Etsy trgovini.

Autumn has shown beautiful colours. After a month of good weather came the rain. Nevermind, this year has been really generous. I just hope that the rain will not last too long, I have still so much plans. Autumn is one of the favorite seasons, but this was not always. In school days September was never happy month and It meant to me only the beginning of school. This time is different. It fills me with calmnes, on the beautiful weather sun gently caress me and the autumn colors are beautiful, especially for a photography. 

My new illustration is therefore a play of words. Autumn (Fall) and love. The love of autumn. Illustration is already in my Etsy shop.

Mushroom pattern

September naj bi bil mesec ko zaviham rokave in se lotim svojih projektov. Otroci so v šoli in jaz imam več časa, da se posvetim delu. Predvsem imam več miru. Seveda pa vedno ne gre vse po planu in tudi tokrat ni nič drugače. Že drugi teden se borim z virozo, ki se me še kar drži. Največja težava je, da si ne vzamem dovolj časa in odležim. 

Vseeno pa mi je uspelo začeti z delom z mojimi dolgo pričakovanimi voščilnicami in h krati sem se začela poigravati z vzorci. Poleg kartic so vzorci nekaj kar že dolgo planiram. Tokrat so malo bolj jesensko obarvani. vse je še v nastajanju in že veselim se končnega izdelka.

September would be the month when I roll up my sleeves and do my projects. Children are at school and I have more time for my work. Above all, I have more peace. Of course, not always everything goes according to plan, and this time is no different. For the second week I fight with virosis. The biggest problem is that I do not take enough time for rest. 

However, I was able to start working with my long-awaited greeting cards and also I started playing around with the pattern. Cards and pattern are something I plan for a long time. This time they are a little more autumn-colored. everything is still in progress and I look forward to the finished work.

It's been awhile

Minilo je že nekaj časa od zadnje objave. Nekako mi ne uspe narediti vsega začrtanega. Poletne počitnice, kar pomeni da zna biti delo od doma precejšen izziv, ko imaš polno hišo otrok. Potem je tukaj še ostalo delo, ki je vezano na poletje in na koncu ostane precej malo časa za blog. Na sploh ko moraš slalomirati med vsemi temi stvarmi, ukvarjati se z vsemi socialnimi omrežji. Planirala sem, da bo poletje čas za moj osebni projekt. To sem bila v zmoti! Ni mi hudega in nikoli mi ni grozno, da se plani spremenijo, važno je le da se kolo vrti naprej.

It's been awhile since the last post. Somehow I fail to do everything I want to. Summer holidays, which means that it can be work from home quite a challenge when you have a house full of children. Then there's the rest of the work, which is linked to the summer and in the end remains quite a bit of time to blog. In general, when you have do all these things, deal with all the social networks and the others things. I was planning to summer time for my personal project. I was wrong! I'm ok and for me it is never terribly when plans change, what matters is only that the wheel rotates forward.

Vse se je tako hitro dogajalo, da nisem uspela sporočiti na odhajam na počitnice. Verjamem, da vsi, ki ste me spremljali na drugih omrežjih kot so, Instagram, Facebook ali Etsy, ste to izvedeli. 

Ob vseh teh lepih stvari, ki so se mi dogajale, priznam da mi je bilo težko pustiti moje delo in oditi. Ko sem bila končno na počitnicah pa si nisem mogla predstavljati, da bi ostala doma. Bilo je čudovito. Edina napak je bila, da so bile prekratke. 

Vsi vi, ki vas počitnice še čakajo, vam želim da bodo lepe, predvsem pa da bodo take, ki si jih želite. Vsem skupaj pa lepo poletje!

It all happened so fast that I could not tell you that I'm leaving on vacation. I believe that all of you who fiollow me on the other social media, such as, Instagram, Facebook or Etsy, you saw it. 

With all these beautiful things that are happening to me, I admit it's been hard to leave my job and leave. When I was finally on vacation I could not imagine to stay at home. It was wonderful. The only fault was that they were too short. 

All of you that you are still waiting holidays, I wish you to be nice and the way how you imagine.

A Beautiful Gardener's Journal by Rose

Moja dnevna (če sem popolnoma iskrena tedenska) rutina je bloganje, ne toliko pisanje svojega (na tem potrebujem še veliko vaje), kot branje blogov iz celega sveta. Okno v svet se mi odpre v trenutku ko sedem pred računalnik. Ena izmed mojih ljubših revij je UPPERCASE, čeprav si je še nisem lastila. Občudujem jo preko mojega okna v svet in si predstavljam kako fino bi jo bilo imeti zares v rokah. H krati pa se potapljam v UPPERCASE-ovem blogu, uživam v njihovih predstavitvah, člankih, umetnikih.

My daily (if I'm completely honest weekly) routine is blogging, not so much writing my own, but reading blogs from around the world. My window to the world is opened when I sit on computer. One of my favorite magazines is UPPERCASE, although I've never have it in my hands. I admire the magazine and imagine how fine it would be to have it also in my hands not just looking by the computer. I love Uppercase blog, I enjoy their presentations, articles of artists.

Pomlad je bila polna vrtnarjenja, rožic, sadik, zelenjave in zato mi je v oči padla objava vrtnarskega dnevnika  Rose Jocham. Zaljubila sem se v njene ilustracije, vzorce. Običajno me privlačijo ilustracije, ki so popolnoma nasprotje mojemu stilu in tukaj je podobno. Nežni akvarelčki, barvna skala in simpatični rokopis, težko je da ti ne bi bilo všeč. Sem velik ljubitelj vzorcev in lahko bi jih opazovala ves čas. Rosejini vzorci so prekrasni in mislim, da bodo všeč tudi vam.

Spring was full of gardening, flowers, seedlings, vegetables and I saw a post of gardenest journal's of Rose Jocham. I fell in love in her illustrations, designs. I usually attracted to illustrations that are completely opposite of my style and here is similar. Gentle watercolours, color chart and cute handwriting is difficult that you would not like it. I'm a big fan of patterns and can watched them at all time. Rose patterns are beautiful and I think you will like it.

Instagram Marketing With Sue B. Zimmerman On Creative Live

Prejšnji teden sem se na Creative Live udeležila predavanja za Instagram marketing za mala podjetja. Če ne poznate spletne strani Creative Live, je čas da jo spoznate. On-line lahko spremljate izjemna predavanja, ki jih vodijo veliki specialisti o fotografiji, podjetništvu, glasbi in še in še. Toliko uporabnih informacij težko dobite na enem mestu in vsega tega kar sem se v zadnjem času sama naučila pri njih, mi nobena šola ni dala. Pa sem se v zadnjih letih veliko izobraževala in naučila in končala dve fakulteti. Znanje ti nikoli nihče ne more vzeti in je vredno vložiti vase. Znova in znova.

Last week attended on Creative Live the course Instagram Marketing for Small Businesses. If you do not know the website Creative Live, it's time for you to visit. You can watch On-line courses with outstanding experts for business, music, photography, and so on... There are so  much useful information, with them, I learned a lot.

Predavanje Instagram marketing je vodila Sue B. Zimmerman. Izjemna ženska, polna dobre energije in predvsem odličnih nasvetov. Prikovala me je za tri dni pred računalnik, kar je precej težko glede na moje delo. Spremljala nisem samo v živo predavanja, ampak tudi vse ponovitve. Poleg vsega dobrega, kar sem izvedela, je bilo prvo prijetno presenečenje. Sue je na predavanju, na Creative Live, pokazala mojo ilustracijo. Bila sem presrečna. Zelo cenim njo in njeno delo in to je bilo zame ogromna pohvala, da je izbrala mojo ilustracijo.

The course Instagram Marketing for Small Businesses was teaching expert for marketing Sue B. Zimmerman. Amazing women, full of great energy and even better knowledge. I was at the computer three days, all the time. And this is not eazy, because I have so much work to do and no one else can't do it beside me. I watched the course in live and also all rebroadcasting.

Sue gave me such a great surprise, I was thrilled. Think I stopped breathing for a moment. She showed my illustration on Creative Live. This make me so happy.. obviously! I very much appreciate her and her work and that was a huge compliment for me to chose my illustration.

Kasneje sva se s Sue dogovorili, da naredim ilustracijo nje za Creative Live in bilo mi je v veliko veselje. Hvaležna sem Sue za vse enkratne nasvete in pohvale mojemu delu. To mi neizmerno veliko pomeni.

New Bags Avalible

Bile so v planu že od lanskega leta. Uspela sem jih narediti za moj prvi letošnji sejem in sedaj jih že najdete Etsy trgovini. Trenutno so na voljo trije različni dizajni, pričakujem da jih bo kmalu tudi več. Vrečke imajo dolge ročaje, ki enkratno sedejo na ramena in vam omogočajo proste roke. Po želji pa počivajo tudi v rokah. Narejene so iz 100% bombaža v naravni barvi. Dovolj so močne, da lahko nosijo težke predmete, h krati pa dovolj lahke, da jih zložite in pospravite v žep ali torbico.

I've been planning them since last year. I've been able to made them for my first year's Fair and now you can find them in Etsy shop. Currently, there are three different designs, I expect that will soon be more. The bag is made from 100% natural cotton. Size 36cm x 38cm with long handles for carrying over the shoulder. It is strong enough to carry the heavy items but lightweight enough to fold up and put in your pocket or handbag. 

Hummingbird

Po dolgem času je spet prišel ptiček. kolibri se bo pridružil ilustracijam 'Štirje letni časi' in predstavlja poletje.

Spring Rabbit

Na domačem vrtu so me očarale vse cvetlice, ki so pokukale ven. Zajček se mi že nekaj časa mota po glavi. In tako je nastala nova ilustracija, ki jo že najdete v moji Etsy trgovini.

On the home garden, I was fascinated by all the flowers that are starting to get out.  have bunny in my head for some time now. And so I created a new illustration, which you can find in my Etsy shop.

Spring is coming

Čas je, da se poslovimo od zime in da na široko odpremo roke pomladi. Vreme je že nekaj časa prekrasno in priznam, da ga vsak dan izkoristim. Čutim, da se mi telo prebuja. Začetna utrujenost je minila in vsak dan sem bolj polna z energijo. Sedaj imam že ritual. Po jutranji kavi in pomarančnemu soku se odpravim ven za uro in pol. Temu je zaslužen Ben. Če ne bi bilo njega bi se verjetno marsikatero jutro nadaljevalo z delom, tako pa je naju popelje v naravo. Najina končna destinacija je travnik, ob katerem teče potok. Običajno je v jutranjih urah še vse mirno. Sonček prijetno greje. Uležem se na travnik, medtem pa Ben nabira palice in jih grizlja. Preden odideva domov tekava po travniku s palicami v rokah in v gobčku. Se loviva in igrava, predvsem pa uživava v vonju in zvoku narave. Vse kar mi pride na misel je.. ko bi vsaj trajalo.

It is time to say goodbye to winter and the wide open arms of spring. The weather is beautiful for some time now and I admit that I take it every day. I feel that my body is waking up. Initial fatigue is gone and every day I am more full of energy. Now I have a ritual. After morning coffee and orange juice I go out for an hour and a half. This is a well deserved Ben. If I woludn't have him, it would probably be many mornings continued with the work, so it takes us into nature. Our final destination is the meadow, at which the stream flows. Usually is in the morning still all quiet. Pleasantly warm sunshine. Lie down on the meadow, while Ben collects sticks and he nibbles it. Before I go home we run in the meadow with sticks in our hands and mouth. We were chatching and playing, especially we enjoyed the smell and sound of nature.

Ilustracija je bila narejena po naročilu za prekrasno osebo, ki ima za sabo veliko avanturo. Verjetno ste opazili, da v mojem življenju igra veliko vlogo tudi moj kuža, zato mi je bilo risanje te ilustracije še večji užitek. Človeka lahko začutiš tudi preko fotografij in besed, čeprav ga v živo nikoli ne srečaš. Vesela sem, da lahko rišem nekaj kar me osrečuje.

Illustration was custom made for a great person who have interesting story of his life. You may have noticed that in my life plays a big role in my dog, so I was drawing these illustrations even greater pleasure. You can feel a person through photos and words, although live never meet. I am glad to be able to draw something that makes me happy.
